The Vanguard Audio Labs V13 Gen 2 is a large-diaphragm multi-pattern valve condenser microphone. Crafted by experts over the course of 2 years, it combines vintage warmth with smooth modern detail.

The V13 has been specifically engineered to have warm, full lows, a precise and detailed mid range, and a buttery-smooth high end. The result is a microphone that unifies warmth with clarity, depth with detail, and character with precision. Often, microphones can be a bit choosy when it comes to how they work with different vocalists, but, after having been tested on both male and female vocalists in a variety of ranges, styles, and genres, the V13 was found to nearly always be the top option, despite being matched against microphones several times its cost.
Just like the first generation, the Vanguard V13 Gen 2 was designed in the USA, and undergoes final assembly in Southern California. Every single microphone undergoes a series of stringent audio and visual tests before being hand-packed.
