Deep-cycle cryogenic treatment improves the lifespan and performance of critical electronic components, whilst brass, steel and zinc heavy-duty construction ensure their safety.

Features

Four interchangeable capsules give you unmatched flexibility for each microphone – cardioid, wide cardioid, hyper cardioid, and omnidirectional. Ultra-sensitive 4-micron diaphragms, an anti-comb-filtering front design, and precision-machined backplates give wide consistency across each capsule.

If you wanted to another level to your V1S toolkit, the V34C “LOLLI” or the V1S+LOLLI are the way forward. The LOLLI capsule couples the smooth, lush sound of the custom-voiced Vanguard Audio Labs V13 capsule with the precision and detail of the V1S microphones. 

Design

The V1S Stereo Matched Pair pencil condenser capsule is coupled to a transformer-balanced solid-state circuit that matches the unique musical properties of the capsules and is loaded with premium-grade, over-spec components. The circuit is designed with an “In = Out” philosophy, with only four components present in the signal path. 

Aesthetically, Vanguard Audio Labs believe the microphones should look as good as they sound. The machined brass body is coated with our signature Pinot Noir hue and is then finished with a deep gloss, accented by polished nickel trim.
