The PSI Audio A14-M Broadcast is designed to produce the highest possible SPL and broad bandwidth in an extremely compact cabinet. It is perfect for applications with limited space that still require the best in terms of precision and reliability. The A14 Broadcasts are almost the exact same as their Studio counterpart, with the only differences being the inclusion of a volume knob on the front, a mounting bracket and the grille covering the woofer.
The powerful bi-amplified output features the unique “AOI” output stages, while the active crossover, with integrated “CPR”, delivers unprecedented impulse behaviour – with excellent stereo imaging. The crossover is also optimized for maximum phase coherence, projecting a wide horizontal and vertical ideal listening area. Designed to work in harmony with the full range of A series monitors the PSI Audio A14-M Broadcast also makes ideal rear speakers in a surround sound setup or can be developed in to a more powerful system by adding the A225-M sub – thus protecting your investment.
The tweeter used in the A14-M is unique and built by hand in Switzerland. Superior to any market-bought solutions, the tweeter offers unparalleled clarity, subtlety and fidelity. It took a lot of time and effort to create this tweeter – certainly a lot more than buying one from an international supplier would have. But the result is absolutely worth it. The A14-M is particularly suited to enhance larger stereo setups for surround sound applications – it’s very tight tolerances guarantee a completely coherent sound throughout the entire model range.
The combination of AOI along with other PSI Audio technologies like Compensated Phase Response, means that the outcome is utterly exceptional sonic performance. All PSI Audio speakers use AOI and deliver absolute clarity and precision, with all the frequencies in their right places and all the transients fully intact.
